In Bangladesh’s capital, Dhâkâ, within its central and suburban chaos, the most diffused and important means of transport is the Ricksha. These are moved by use of human traction. For just a few small coins a day and with the strength of their own legs, about three hundred thousand men with their colourful rickshas boost the economy and the social life of a megalopolis of around eleven million individuals.
